Sailing in the Solent

One of our members has a yacht and motor cruiser
(lucky fellow, so during the warmer months we get a chance to sail across to the Isle of Wight and generally have fun on the water. I elected to be the helmsman, but soon got kicked out.

Celebrating nearly 100 years of Rotary service to our home town of Gosport which has for centuries been home to the Royal Navy and still holds strong ties to the sea, now replacing it's traditional role as an armament depot to Portsmouth Dockyard with modern Marinas.
We meet alternate Thursday lunchtimes at 1.00pm at the Thorngate Hall, Bury Road
And Thursday evenings at the Stokes Bay Golf Club.
